Hearing Adele on Kiss FM (our local Top 50 random pop station) is blowing my mind. Score 1 for the American public’s taste in music.
My girlfriends and I actually caught wind of an Adele concert in Madrid our first night in town, we cabbed it down to the venue, but only ONE person was scalping tickets and with our limited Spanish, our hopes were dashed.
If not for the LSAT I’d be scalping tickets to her Chicago show… oh well, maybe next year she’ll be back… at the United Center.
My tongue is burned. My lip is burned. My finger is burned.

I realized after that last post I should define “favorites.”
Those individuals who at some point in my life were some of my favorite people. Time and geography impact who we’re closest to at any given point, but no one ever loses the title “favorite” with me.
I think it’s important to remember your favorites and do your best to catch up now and again.
I read a lot of “healthy” living blogs. I get inspired by these girls who train for marathons, subsist on diets of fiber, whole grains and veggies— who have ridiculous time management skills and never write about a hangover. Ever.
I am not one of those girls. I bought a bottle of creme de cassis on Sunday on a whim and I’m currently enjoying a Kir Royale and a $16 box of dessert from Artopolis Bakery in the West Loop.
Just wanted to clear things up.
