Hot Doug’s is one of my favorite Chicago restaurants. It’s a difficult restaurant to eat at since you need to know 2 hours in advance when your hunger will peak. But this weekend was a great weekend for waiting in line, 60 degree temps, but a potential for rain that may have kept some people away.
Unfortunately my all-time favorite Uber Garlic Dog was not available, but the Ale and Provolone Chicken Sausage was a fantastic substitute.
"with Pesto Aioli and Hommage Goat Milk’s Cheese."
I spent the two hour wait writing up my Must-Do List for this last summer in Chicago. I finally committed to Boston College after the mini-meltdown last week and I’m looking forward to enjoying all of the Chicago favorites. First check mark on my list!
Hot Doug’s. 3324 North California Avenue. Chicago, IL.
